Amazing!! My massage therapist was Alice, and she was fantastic!

This is my first massage at a walk in style massage place and I didn’t know what to expect. I’d like to share some things I found different from a traditional spa massage.

I arrived 10mins early to my appointment and no paperwork, no consultation, we went straight back. I undressed and she came back promptly to begin. She asked if i wanted oil and/or hot stone and I declined. She started with compressions through the sheet. She worked down one side of the body then the other, back up, to the other side repeating for several rounds. She got on the table for more pressure and ergonomics as needed. She immediately picked up that my shoulders were really tight and throughout the massage gave them extra attention.

After the compressions, she draped the sheet back and applied oil and started really working the muscles, releasing tension and knots. It felt soooo good! She did the same for arms and legs.

She finished the massage with some stretching and tapotement. She really gave her ALL the full 90mins, maintaining firm pressure throughout, which made it feel longer.

I left feeling relaxed, refreshed and with a cold bottle of water, courtesy of Taji.

I feel like I have a new body after every massage. The pressure is great, they know where the knots are. They are personable and the owner, James is very lovely. I highly recommend Taiji Acupoint.
